Little Big League “Never Have I Ever Walked Away When The Time Was Right” - Philadelphia, PA - 10/01/2012
We first met Little Big League drummer Ian Dykstra at our good friend’s going away party in late July. A bunch of us sat around picnic tables in Liberty Lands Park in the North Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, eating pizza, drinking beer and enjoying some weird flavored vodka.
Ian told us about his band, Little Big League, whom we had heard of before, and we told him about Out Of Town Films and what we do. The band was gearing up for a few-week tour so we were going to try and get the session done before then. The original plan was to shoot the session on top of the warehouse that they lived in, but we ultimately decided to scratch that plan and wait until they returned from tour.
When they got back, the band invited us into their practice space that they had redecorated with Christmas lights. It led to this version of new song “Never Have I Ever Walked Away When The Time Was Right,” which will be on their new record sometime in 2013. Enjoy.
