Callers “It’s A Ringer” - Philadelphia, PA - 09/22/2012
It was a rainy evening when we met up with Callers at Union Transfer in Philadelphia. Their soundcheck kept getting pushed back so we grabbed a beer across the street while we waited for them to give us a call. By the time they finished up, we had enough time to down two beers each and the doors for the show were just about to open.
Under the circumstances, we had no choice but to hole up in the smallest room backstage and to our surprise, the room worked out almost perfectly. It provided us with a nice quiet space where the closed-door acoustics helped project as well as contain the duos’ vocals and guitar. All of that led to this lovely version of “It’s A Ringer” off their most recent release, Reviver. Enjoy.
