We're a collective of friends living and working in Philadelphia. We create short films with local and touring artists and bands performing in different locations around the city. While we call Philadelphia home, we occasionally make a trip to another city. So lets hang out.

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart “This Love Is Fucking Right” - Philadelphia, PA - 07/14/2012
As we walked into the entrance of Morgan’s Pier, the hostess with a kind smile greeted us. It is a warm Saturday afternoon and the sun was shining, basking the pier’s inhabitants with a golden glow, which was also beautifully reflected across the waters front. We turn to our left to see a hot dog stand, one that conveniently served vegan dogs as well. Ordering two of them, we dressed both with the appropriate accouterments, and indulged.
After the dogs, I messaged the band’s manager to let him know we were there, to which he told us to meet by the stage. The band was just finishing sound check so, naturally, he gave us two drink tickets to pass the time with a beer.” And that we did.
Twenty minutes later we met the band outside of the pier. We introduced ourselves and explained our idea for the shoot. Our plan was to shoot at Race St. Pier, which is just down the block. It overlooks the water and it’s a decent location given the relativity to Morgan’s Pier. We then grabbed the acoustic guitars, drum and mic stands from my car. From there, the band and Out Of Town Films carried the array of musical equipment down the street, trailed by a few other friends who decided to come along for the shoot. As we made our way down Race St. Pier and got the band in place, several people started to gather around, sensing the upcoming performance. We set up the audio gear, got into our respective positions, and pressed record. Here’s what came of those three minutes. Enjoy.
